Programmable Photonic Circuit

In this application example, we show how to design and simulate a programmable photonic circuit (PPC) using the Luceda Photonics Design Platform.

We first give an introduction to programmable photonics and explain how a photonic circuit can be reconfigured and attain many different functionalities by merely changing the applied DC voltages. Then, we show how to implement the circuit for the PPC in a silicon nitride platform.
