Component models
This chapter contains tutorials and exercises that will walk you through how to create simulation models for components in IPKISS. These models are not simulations themselves, but generate the S-matrices that are used in the circuit simulations we saw previously.
We’ll explore this feature by creating compact models for an MMI and testing their behaviour. The models rely on having experimental or simulation data, or an analytical model to create the compact model.
Finally, the advanced examples folder contains a time-domain compact model for a heated wire.
