Multi-mode interferometer (MMI)
In this tutorial, you will learn how to design, simulate and optimize a passive component. A 1x2 multi-mode interferometer (MMI) is used as an example. The tutorial consists of three steps:
Writing the PCell, starting from the layout of the MMI.
A circuit model is added to the MMI PCell.
The MMI is simulated and optimized using CAMFR, the built-in 2D EME propagation simulation tool in Luceda IPKISS.
