Passive photonic devices, such as splitters, couplers and resonators, are the basic building blocks of advanced photonic circuits. Every photonic design team, regardless of the application field, needs to design and simulate such devices.

In this section, you can find tutorials showing how to set up a design project to layout, simulate and optimize passive devices. Emphasis is placed on neatly organizing your design project, so that the results of your work can be reused within your photonic design team by your colleagues and fellow designers.
